L. Roger Hutson
President & CEO
L. Roger Hutson is the President/CEO of HRM Resources III, LLC which he founded for the acquisition and development of energy resources in North America. The company was formed in 2017 after the successful divestment of HRM Resources II, LLC. This is the 4th company Mr. Hutson has founded. The previous three, HRM Resources II, LLC, HRM Resources, LLC and Paladin Energy Partners, were grown and successfully divested of in 2017, 2011 and 2006 respectively.
Mr. Hutson’s other involvements include Director, Bayou Midstream, LLC, a full service midstream company across the US Rockies Region, Director, Chairman of the Board of Colorado Concern, a statewide CEO-based organization devoted to investing in and promoting a pro-business environment through the political process, Director, SCL Health Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation, Trustee, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Director, Helen G. Bonfils Foundations, Commissioner, Denver Judicial Nominating Commission, Director, Colorado Healing Fund, Past Chair, Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission, and Past Chair, Colorado School of Mines Board of Trustees. Mr. Hutson holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines
Dan Kelly
COO
Mr. Kelly has 35+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry with a focus on the development of energy assets throughout the western United States. Prior to joining HRM II in 2016, Dan spent 13 years in various capacities with Noble Energy, Inc., including the Vice President of Strategy and Planning. Mr. Kelly is also a Director for SRC Energy, which is based in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Kelly received his Bsc. in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
Keith Doss
Senior Controller
Mr. Doss has over 35 years of industry experience. Prior to joining HRM III, Keith served in a variety of capacities including Corporate Controller and Chief accounting officer at Antero Resources Company and Extraction Oil & Gas respectfully. In addition to being a CPA, Keith earned his Msc & Bsc in Accounting from University of North Texas.
Terry Pape
VP Operations
Terry brings an extensive background in field operations to the HRM team. Beginning with Paladin Energy Partners in early 2000’s, HRM III is the fourth company that he and Roger have partnered together on. Prior to that, Terry founded and served as president of Pape Oilfield Services, and held positions with Mesa Petroleum and Rocky Mountain Production Company.
Alex Sachen
VP Engineering
Alex joined HRM Resources III in November of 2017. Prior to joining HRM, Alex held numerous technical positions with SM Energy and Venoco LLC. Throughout his career, Alex has held roles in reservoir engineering, completions design, operations, A&D, exploration, budget and planning. Alex earned a ME in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Colorado, Boulder.
Patrick McGraw
VP Land
Patrick joined HRM Resources III in September of 2017. Prior to joining HRM, he spent the previous ten years with Anadarko Petroleum Corp. and held positions of increasing responsibility within its Rocky Mountain assets, most recently as Land Manager for the DJ Basin and Powder River Basin. Prior to Anadarko, Patrick worked as an independent landman, handling projects throughout the Rockies. Patrick earned a BA from Colorado State University and a MBA from the University of Colorado, Denver.
